Making the impossible possible with ceramics using 3D-printing

Interested in the additive manufacturing and sintering of ceramics? NKV invites you to meet at Z3Dlabs BV and discuss how to make the ceramics of the future!

On Thursday 27 November 2025, the Netherlands Ceramic Society (NKV) organizes a network meeting on:
"Making the impossible possible with ceramics using 3D-printing"
Location: Z3Dlabs BV, Oirschot

Topics covered during this meeting include:
- Methods and challenges for 3D-printing of ceramics
- Sintering of complex structures, while retaining the desired (3D) shape
- Furnace design for binder burn-out and sintering

Program
13:00-13:30 - Registration, coffee/tea
13:30-13:35 - Welcome and introduction about Z3Dlabs BV
13:35-13:45 - Onshape CAD: for optimal communcation with customers, Henk de Vlaam, Z3Dlabs BV
13:45-14:15 - Advanced manufacturing of ceramics through 3D-printing - From design through prototype to industrial scale production, Kursad Kaan Akbulut, Z3Dlabs BV
14:15-14:45 - Numerical analysis of the sintering behaviour of ceramic bilayer membranes for hydrogen separation, Anne Timmermans, Eindhoven University of Technology
14:45-15:15 - Furnace design for binder burn-out and sintering of 3D structures, Hans Roels, Carbolite
15:15-15:30 - Open podium: attendees are invited to give a short pitch of a few minutes on their activities. Do you want to make use of this? Please contact the organizers before 21 November via info@ceramics.nl
15:30-17:00 - Coffee/tea break followed by a tour of Z3Dlabs, after which you will have plenty of time to evaluate the event and network while enjoying drinks and snacks.

NKV members: 25 euros
Non-NKV members: 30 euros

You can register - preferably instantly, but on Tuesday 25 November at the latest - by sending an e-mail to info@ceramics.nl titled 'NKV 27 November 2025' and stating your name and if possibe the organisation/company that you represent.
At the same time as your registration, you will pay the amount due on our bank account number, mentioning your name, company and 'NKV 27 November 2025'.
