At the start of the new year, SKF is pleased to open its doors for a combined event on Friday 22 January 2027. In the morning, the biennial NKV Student Speech Contest will take place, during which BSc, MSc, and PhD students in the field of ceramics will present their research while competing to represent the Netherlands at the European Student Speech Contest during ECerS XX 2027 in Valencia, Spain.
After lunch, there will be a small symposium on structural ceramics, featuring presentations by SKF and TU/e, among others. The technical part will conclude with a lab tour at SKF. This event fits very well within the intersectoral, sometimes international, networking mixer events to bring young people into contact with established people, that we have organized already for several years.
